École Holy Cross is a single track Kindergarten to Grade 8 French Immersion School located on the East side of the city. The school attendance area is from 6th Avenue East to east the side of the city and from the river to the southern city limits. Also included are the Osborne and East Central bus areas. Currently the student population is 350 students.

As a single track and early immersion school this means that the entire population is enrolled in French with points of entry in Kindergarten and Grade 1.

École Holy Cross welcomes all Catholic families in the attendance area who wish to offer their child the gift of a second language. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at (306) 953-7551.

Principal's Message

Bienvenue à l'École Holy Cross!  Welcome to Holy Cross School!

Welcome to all new students, families and staff members as well as those who are returning to École Holy Cross.

Our mission at École Holy Cross a Catholic French Immersion School is to build a safe, caring and respectful community where the teachings of Jesus Christ are modelled for one another. High academic and social standards are set in order for students to become self-disciplined and self-motivated life-long learners.

Our motto "Ensemble nous grandissions",  "Together We Grow" serves as a beacon to recognize the talents and progress of each and every individual associated with the school. Along with our motto, this year's Gospel value is 'FAITH: Proclaim it’. We will concentrate on proclaiming the Gospel and being a channel for God’s love. In addition to this we will continue to recognize and celebrate this Jubliee Year of Mercy.

I invite you to come and visit the school as a new or returning family to find the ways that you can become involved.

God Bless

Wade Mourot, Principal
