St. John Community School

We are a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8 Catholic Community School, working with the parish and home to ensure the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical growth of our students, which takes place in a caring Catholic environment. Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to share their gifts and talents within the school to make it the best it can possibly be. By living and practicing the ideals of our school motto, "Working Together, We're Better", we are able to meet the needs of our students and families in our warm and caring environment.

Principal's Message

Welcome to St. John Community School.  We have a proud tradition of providing a warm, caring, Christ-filled learning environment to the students in the East Flat. Our students strive to reach their full potential in all aspects of their lives: intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and most importantly, spiritually.

Our community extends beyond our school walls to the homes and families of all our students, our home parish, St. Mark, and to the East Flat community.

Together this year, we will focus on living our Catholic faith.  The foundation of this faith journey will be learning through and modeling the Mercy of Christ. As partners, we will work for the good of all our students. We look forward to engaging with you and we wish all families a rewarding school year!
